Week 4 Transfer 2

So this week... Hmmm What to say and where to start is the question. Soyesterday we had a Bagio. It rained for pretty much the whole entire day! So, because of the Bagio we had a smaller show up at church because of those people who live out in the Bukid. Anyways because of the Bagio, our main investigators we are focusing on weren't able to make it to Church. But, we had one day where we were able to teach about 5 investigators.

So we are teaching a man named Sikay. He's a really loving man and asking of the Gospel and he knows that the Church can help him with his problems. He has a drinking and smoking problem. Slowly he is able to stop with his Word of Wisdom problems. So we finally were able to get through the whole entire Lesson 1 with him and I was able to invite him to pray about our message to come to know of the truth and then I asked him that when he comes to know the truth if he will follow the example of Jesus Christ and become baptized. He is Catholic but now really understands the Apostasy and he said when he is able to get rid of his Word of Wisdom problem he will be baptized. Hi-Yah! I'm happy for his faith slowly building. The power of prayer really works.

Other than that we had other experiences of people opening up to us to where we can finally really teach them and touch their hearts with our message even the the Holy Ghost has already softened their hearts for us to be able to share more messages with them. Most of the week besides that was really hard and as a companionship we had a lot of challenges, but we have made it through this week.

One thing that I learned in my study this week is something that I have really already known and have been trying to work on really hard. As missionaries and even when not missionaries, we have very spiritual experiences or witness miracles. These things we need to keep sacred to us and not constantly talk about but only share when the Holy Ghost prompts you share it where it seems fit. This has really impacted my thinking and pondering about all the things I have witnessed and taken part in for blessings, miracles, answers, and sacred experiences, etc. Now for another week to work harder and harder!

I love you all and hope you have a great week. Remember that through the power of prayer with a sincere heart if the things you desire are righteous then our Heavenly Father will grant it to you through His will.

We watched some dancing from some kids that we are teaching right now and I was able to get a few more contacts from this. They are a rascal bunch.

Some more rascals, these guys.

Our propane gas went out on us so we had to Boy Scout it for a night.
