Week 3 Transfer 5

So this week I've been working my butt off while trying to get better from a sickness. The love of eating food that makes you sick because it most likely wasn't prepared properly... That's life of a missionary! So I worked soooo hard this whole week until Saturday and Sunday. I just sat at home resting and sleeping. Yah! But not really Yah! I dislike very much sitting at home doing nothing. Its such a waste of time! I could be outside doing something and helping further the Lords work by spreading the Gospel! Bahhh! Well I guess even as missionaries we are entitled and not immune to sickness. Shocks... huh? But anyways. FRIDAY

So on Friday we went to two areas; Abada and Arao. These are our main areas of focus right now because they are going to be opened into an instant Branch. Shhh don't tell anyone! Secrets. Haha. But yeah. We are trying to find members there. There's tons of less active members and we need to find a member there who is a Lawyer or Doctor or something to become the Branch President. So we are working soooo hard! Anyways...

Friday night we found 1 less active family and they were super happy that we found them and visited. Its funny though. All the kids on the street, once they knew that I knew Ilonggo just started following me and Elder De Vera. They all came into the less active members house with us. It was funny but a fun experience. Their son who is about 23 now gave the closing Prayer and prayed we'd come back the next day which I was bummed that we couldn't because I had to rest all day.

Later in the night we taught the Sernal Family about Family Prayer. We pondered a long time of how we could help them and that was the answer. They need to have Family Prayer every night with each other to touch Brother's heart so they can start coming to Church and also get permission to be Baptized.

Finally our last lesson at night was with Brother Rene Opano. He has been taught by tons of Elder's for a long time. The Spirit was the strongest it ever has been in a lesson with him. I taught most the time because Elder said he was restrained to talk. This is a very sacred experience but I wanted to share it with you all. I was filled with the Spirit so much. My words were truly not my words but the words of the Holy Ghost. I was asking truly inspired questions to Brother because we didn't know what to do anymore. We now know where we need to focus from hearing him open up and express his doubts and questions. "How can you truly learn from someone if you do not know if they are messengers from God?" "That's just it! You can't... Unless, you pray and ask at first." He's obviously felt the Spirit greatly many times in many a lesson but the question is does he realize that he's felt that? So many things to ponder about and teach.

Have a great week all! Love you! Ponder Pray Listen Repeat!

I threw a dead cockroach outside our back door and these ants made a thing of dirt over it and tunneled under the ground. They slowly were taking its legs off and bringing them into the tunnels. It was sweet! They build that dirt over night. haha. Gods Creations.

If i remember right this is called a Kikit in Ilonggo. I have no clue what it is in English. Its probably some wasp or something or like a Bee. Maybe a Dancing Bee? No clue because all bee's dance to communicate. Ya I learned that before my mission on Discovery Channel! haha.
