Week 4 Almost AIRBOUND!

Maayong adlaw! (Good day!)
Hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas!
Christmas was pretty great here in the MTC. They kept us pretty busy though. I wish we coulda had a little sit down and relax time. Well we had an Apostle speak to us and guess who? Elder David Bednar!!! The Christmas Devotional was amazing! And it was definitely a knew experience for all Devotionals. The Devotional was broadcast to all MTC's and he had us ask hims questions and he answered them. The way we asked him questions is the MTC's around the world emailed him some questions earlier and then they passed out 200 cell phones in the audience and we texted his Ipad. I got to send a message but he didn't read mine. It was just a cool new experience! But, my question was answered in someways from another persons question but more answered by his wife which was pretty funny. haha. Our TRC's (Teacher Resource Center or something like that) are going great. The language is just getting better and better. Its amazing when some things just click in your head when you totally did not understand them at first! I love it! I feel like I'm actually learning something for once. But, Elder Bednar said and analogy that I never thought of that I want to share with you. Someone asked this question. "Why do I feel so incompetent after having repented and still am troubled by its memories?" He talked about a jar filled with black sand. On each side of the top sides of the jar were holes just big enough for 1 little grain of sand to go through and leave the jar. Slowly when you start putting good things back into your life you slowly have grains of white sand coming into the jar and black grains of sand leaving the jar. In time the jar is only full of white grains of sand. The black grains of sand represent the consequences and memories of sin and the white grains represent the good you put into your life. In time those memories and memories of the guilt and consequences leave you because only you remember what you did. Once you repent Heavenly Father forgives and forgets. I just thought that, that analogy was awesome and made things make so much more sense! Well I hope that all of you had a great Christmas and were able to sing some Christmas music with each other! I think Christmas time is the best time for singing music because its like there are angels singing with you to baby Jesus.
Here is my testimony in ilonggo. Hope you enjoy trying to pronounce it! =P
Here is some help with it though, the a=ah sound, e=eh sound, i=eeeh sound, o=ohh sound, u=oooh sound.
I know that the church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I know that Jesus Christ loves us. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ blesses us. I feel Jesus Christs love day by day. He died for our sins. I know that Thomas S Monson is a prophet and he receives messages for us. I know that we have the true gospel. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
I could write more but as you can see a lot is written for a little said in English. Hope you have a great week everyone! Remember why you are here!
