So we are pretty much half-way through the Summer here. Oh my goodness heat heat heat hot hot hot. I use an umbrella when I walk to atleast not get a heat rash but I just laugh at myself every time. But, that's good! Have some self laughter and make fun out of the weird things about yourself! Yah! Anyways, this week has been nice. I received a care package of delicious candies which I have been munching on. The power turned of one night for 30 minutes because a lightning storm was passing by. That was pretty bright and burning I might say but a new experience for sure! Every day is always a new experience. I got to eat a ton of authentic Philippines food this last week and also a ton of spaghetti. The spaghetti here just makes me laugh but its still good. Not the same as real Italian Spaghetti though.
Not much happened this week though.
This is my house or apartment in Sta. Fe. Its super small but in a rich part which is funny.
- So we had 6 investigators at church today WOAH! It was for sure a miracle and it built my faith even more.
- My umbrella broke somewhat but is still use-able. Hurray!
- Some of the members in the ward (mainly the sisters) had me sing for them at a family break the fast yesterday that they had. They love me even more. It makes me laugh but that's fine. I'm glad that I have been given the talent to sing from Heavenly Father.
- I am in 3rd Nephi again already in the Book Of Mormon! I have learned to love reading so much. When I get home I'm probably going to turn into a book worm. haha
- Our investigator family, Sister Sernal and her daughter Ema, and Son Dominique. We've changed their baptismal date to May 31. Sister needs permission from her Husband for them to get baptized, so right now we are praying hard for his heart to be softened.
- I have a super funny story now from teaching an investigator who's been taught forever but really isn't progressing at all.
- Brother Royce John (18) was able to help us about 3 days out of this week.
I don't really know what more to say besides I love Homemade Buko Shakes (Coconut). Sister Lotayo makes the best shakes ever!
