Week 5 Transfer 4

So earlier today I got to skype for Mother's Day! Woah it was so weird! hahaha. I didn't realize how awkwardly funnily weird it would be for me. Anyways I am very grateful.

So this week we had Zone Meeting and Presidents training. I learned soooo much and I got to learn about Presidents Family which was cool. 

Just for a quick email I want to ask 3 questions.

Do you truly know how to read the Scriptures?

Do you truly know how to study the Scriptures?

Do you truly know how to pray about the Scriptures?

I've been really pondering lately about things and study a lot. I read about this. Read, Study, Pray. More so though, Its to write down questions you have, then to read the Scriptures, and then after that answer your questions in a paragraph and then pray about it and if its correct. After this repeat, but your last prayer; Pray that what you have written down for your answers to your questions is the truth and to pray Vocally and Alone in your place of Personal Peace.

We can literally do this for anything. Not just scriptural doctrines. So this is my challenge for you all of this week and then when you finish, ask yourself; Do I really know how to read, study, and pray now? You will be surprised.

I know this church is true with all of my heart and that the only way to know the truth is through these steps. Yes steps. That's why we have Faith. To take blind steps of Faith. Faith is not a perfect knowledge. In order to grow we have to have Faith and always ask our Heavenly Father for answers to our Questions, but First we have to try to answer our questions as best as we can. I know these things to be true in the name of our Savior, Jesus Christ, Amen.
