Week 2 Transfer 3

So this week I was able to learn the area of Santa Fe a lot better Yay! But first!

Those who all accepted my invitation from last weeks email of mine? This is my follow up! Email me what happened if you did accept my invitation. 

So this week we found 7 investigators in one day. We have a baptism this Saturday. Gea and Chenee (9 and 10 years old). I will get to Baptize for the first time. Woah! But the Family we've been working on accepted the invitation to be Baptized but they didn't go to church on Sunday. Bummer... But hopefully next week.

So we found this family at the beginning of the week by chance, and from mishearing of a name. Now we are teaching them and the Sister already accepted the invitation to Baptism and we are hoping that they will be able to come to Church on Sunday. The Husband wants to go too but he works on Sundays. I'm hoping that he really puts his trust and faith in Heavenly Father and goes to Church instead so that he will realize the blessings from taking that sacrifice and then also be able to feel the Holy Ghost.

We are working with this girl Maureen who is about 12 years old. She knows all the lessons and is super smart. She has a testimony and wants to be baptized but her Dad is the problem on if she has permission or not. He is a less active member. She usually comes to Church every week but did not come this week. We are hoping that our Ward Mission Leader Brother Roy will be able to get permission from her Dad because he played with him when they were kids. haha.

Later today I have to give a musical number in District Leader training. Yah. Haha. Its funny, because I'm always asked to give musical numbers. This will be my 4th one already but I don't mind it. Oh, and no I'm not District Leader. My companion is, but that's fine.
