Week 3 Transfer 7

This week. Hmmmm. It was a long long week! The reason... There was tons of rain and no people home or outside. The hardships of the endings of the rainy season! haha.. But its okay. We were able to find some new investigator families! The hardest part though is that these families live in a really far area away from the Church building and its a really poor area because its where a lot of squatters in the city were placed.. They have some amazingly humble people there though! The hardest thing right now is to get the to commit to church and then so actually go because its a lot of (plete) riding fee's. The hardest thing here for people to realize is how huge the blessings are from our Heavenly Father when we sacrifice things. I can't wait till I'm able to find the perfect way to help them realize more about sacrifices and testing their faith in that region.. This week or well, last night we figured out the date that Sister Grace will be baptized! September 13 is when she should be baptized! I'm so excited for her because its been a long process of teaching her and then getting everything figured out so her parents (Which live far away) can attend her baptism.

I had a very spiritual and humbling experience yesterday. We went on splits yesterday of course, but first I want to say this; I've been listening to General Conference talks a lot lately and President Monson's talks are just so touching and humbling. In a lot of his talks he speaks about times that he has gone to retirement homes and hospitals at the request of people that he knows from when he was a kid and they are on their death beds or are just of super old age and have asked for a blessing of comfort and counsel. I had the opportunity yesterday to give a blessing of comfort and counsel to a Pioneer of the Church here in the Philippines. I gave a 92 year old bed ridden brother a blessing that was requested by his daughter. It was truly a great humbling and spiritual experience. I was able to learn of all the things that he has done for the Church by his daughter as well as talk with his Wife. I now understand somewhat of how President Monson has felt when he's participated in these things. It is something I will always remember as I do not remember my Grandpas at all.

Me and one of our investigators Honeylyn. She's super funny. Super shy at first and then once you know her she's a total wacko!

Us with Brother Albert and his Niece Honeylyn and then his friends son. They hopefully will be baptized in no time! They've accepted Baptism but just need to go to Church every Sunday.

Brother Victor and Jason. Two new Converts of the Sisters.

Love you all! Have a great week!
